@@rhapsodyfishing4120 - ESSEX Super 6 would probably be correct. "The Cars that Hudson built" by John A. Conde shows a 1930 "ESSEX Standard Sedan" on page 76. The ESSEX was introduced by Hudson in 1919 as a lower price car. It was sold as an ESSEX. That continued till 1932 when the ESSEX TERRAPLANE was introduced. Amelia Earhart owned one. In 1934, the name ESSEX was dropped and the cars were called TERRAPLANE. The larger, more expensive Hudson was a separate model.
