A number of different variants of the Lockheed Electra were operated in New Zealand in the 1940's.
This aircraft is a 12a Junior owned by Pat Donovan which was based at Omaka Aerodrome in Blenheim (New Zealand) for several years from 2002. The aircraft is seen here at Omaka just prior to a flight over the stunning Marlborough countryside.
