This was the era when Avedis Zildjian company started making "paper thin" cymbals for drum kits in the USA.
The "paper thin" cymbals became so popular among Jazz musicians, and the K Zildjian company in Turkey starts to make them also.
Before this era, we can only find thick cymbals that they made for Orchestras and military bands.
The maximum size on the catalog was 15.5, and the size above 18" seems to be a custom order, and you don't see them often. The thick 18" should be an orchestral pair, but I haven't found another 18" to make a pair with it. Still searching every day... If you have one or find one, please let me know! ;)
Thanks to the 18 year old drummer Sota Watanabe, for playing a 90 year old cymbal setup.
Thank you all for watching, and thanks for reading. ;)
