This was the era when Avedis Zildjian company started making "paper thin" cymbals for drum kits in the USA.
The "paper thin" cymbals became so popular among Jazz musicians, and the K Zildjian company in Turkey starts to make them also.
Before this era, we can only find thick cymbals that they made for Orchestras and military bands.
The maximum size on the catalog was 15.5, and the size above 18" seems to be a custom order, and you don't see them often. The thick 18" should be an orchestral pair, but I haven't found another 18" to make a pair with it. Still searching every day... If you have one or find one, please let me know! ;)
Thanks to the 18 year old drummer Sota Watanabe, for playing a 90 year old cymbal setup.
Thank you all for watching, and thanks for reading. ;)

All cymbals are owned by ARTCYMBAL. They're not for sale, but questions are always welcome!

That left side ride sounds like nothing else! Wow! How did you even find Constantinoples at a size 18???

Thanks for your comment! Yes, the left one is very special. ☺️ I found the 18"s on eBay few years ago. I've been searching all around the internet, but can't find one since then.

@@manabuchannel simply beautiful! Let me know if you ever want to trade vintage cymbals (or even just share info about them 😎)! I'm working on my own set of Constantinople stamp 14 inch hats. The top is absolutely amazing, but the bottom is just far too heavy. I'm on the lookout for a 14 inch vintage Constantinople under 1000g to replace the almost 2kg that I have lol

@@Cebiona Hi, thank you for liking it! ☺️ I don't have a light 14" Constantinople single now (I do have a factory matched 1000/1100g). I have some old stamps that are about 1000g and 800g. It's better to share our cymbals by email, so I'd be happy if you could write to me: manabugani@yahoo.co.jp Thanks!
