I purchased this 1930s Marx Toy Tow Truck from eBay September of 2020. I was super excited about this one, I really love the Marx toys. This particular model had an option of having working headlights and I've always wanted on of these for the collection. I decided to do a working headlight conversion on this toy. I was unsure about making the parts and was terrified of destroying the grille since there are no aftermarket replacements. This restoration went incredibly well and overall I'm amazed at how well it turned out and works.

Did you notice when Anton Levey preached the Satanic sermons, he opened the doorway to demons? Even though he loved cats and dogs. In other words in this case, J.E. Bright sprung a real in-your-face surprise on us.

Great restoration! I like the new closeups showing the rust and other damage. The electrician's tape wheel retainers was some real engineering by the former owner/operator. And I'm surprised you don't break more tabs as that rusty old metal gets brittle. Excellent work!

Great camera work. Always in focus, hands rarely in the way and your work always in frame not jumping all over the place. Sites that continue to film this way could take a lesson from you. I like how it’s all about what’s being restored not just hearing you talk. There are other sites where the person is continually talking through the whole process, stopping to focus in on a part or tool and talk and talk....takes an hour to show a twenty minute video. Some people like that but, I find myself hitting the fast forward button. It’s why you are my favourite resto site.

I don't know how many toy restoration channels there are. I've watched maybe six or seven of them regularly. Of them, I would say you are the best. I'm new around here, so I don't know the growth rate of your channel, I do know your channel is destined to rise. You go the extra mile and it shows. See you in the next one.
