Great video. I love perfume. My beautiful Mom always had a bottle of perfume, even though we were ,I guess, poor. As we got older, she let us choose a small bottle every few months. We were the best smelling farm girls in Texas!
Same with me my mom and my grandma never were able to afford really fancy perfumes but as I put in one of my comments on here they did have blue waltz which was launched in 1927 I still have three bottles of them they're newer bottles from I think the 1990s but yeah that's one person but yeah I usually buy Avon perfume well I used to until they got a little bit more expensive now I just go to TJ Maxx or Ross and get them cheaper
I love Jean Harlow. Comedic, charmimg, helplessly sexy, not vulnerable but alluring. Claimed the look of wearing white silk sheath with nothing else underneath 🤍 Just slinked across the screen torching everywhere she by passed. Another co- morbidity like James Dean ~ 💠 briefly dropped by earth singeing her brand into Earth & galaxied off 🌌
Oh my goodness!!! I love these perfume videos 🥰... I am a collector as well and most of your videos have given me inspiration to go back in time and buy😊... I love it ❤️ Oh!... And scentbird is an absolutely fabulous subscription.... I am a subscriber myself 🥰❤️❤️❤️thank you for being here Laura🙏🏻
I had that same perfume years ago. The only reason I got it was because it was Jean Harlow's favorite fragrance. It was lovely but more of a winter scent.
I've always loved perfume and colonge. My favorite is Jazz Club by Replica. I've been pairing it with my other perfumes and so far it smells amazing with everything I've paired it with. Also, what movie are the scenes around 5 minutes from? It cracked me up. 🤣💚🖤
I have and like Jazz Club. I like the "raunchy" quality.of the tobacco note. I have lots of Replica line frags by Maison Martin Margiela. I love the line and its theme. (btw, "Replica" is the line or series of fragrances, but the brand/house/designer/maker is Maison Martin Margiela).
My grandma my mom my mom would have been 80 now and my grandma would have been 102 they used to buy the blue waltz perfume which started out in 19 it was launched out in 1927 I have three bottles of it they're like in a heart-shaped bottle they're really good smelling but I don't wear them myself but since my mom and my grandma are now gone I just take a with them once in awhile it reminds me of them but yeah look up blue waltz and it was launched in 1927
Hi this is Latonya love when you talk about old Hollywood perfume that is what I want in my perform collection can you do this video sometimes on your Channel love your videos keep coming out with the great videos
Mae West was like Elsa Schiaparelli a woman ahead her time and inspired much designers and artists. The "Femme" flakon from Marcel Rochas was designed too after the figure of Ms.West. Marcel Rochas adored Mae West as the idol of his youth.👛🩰💕 Elsa Schiaparelli, who introduced the color Pink in fashion, designed a famous dress in Pink for Mae West, which was a wracker in 💄🎉 Fashion world. Elsa Schiaparelli came from a famous italian family of scholars and her father was one of the most famous Egyptologists of the world and the Doyen of the University of Rome, Prof.Ernesto Schiaparelli, who discovered the tomb of queen Nefertari, the favourite wife of Ramses II. Elsa Schiaparelli left a big heritage in fashion and an exquisite mark in history through her granddaughter Marisa Berenson, the famous actress ( Barry Lindon) and one of the most beautiful women of the world.💛💚💐
I'm almost 67, and while Marisa Berenson was big when I was a teen...I was today years old when I found out her connection to Elsa Schiaparelli. Now her success makes a LOT more sense!!!
It is a 70s perfume but I love wearing anais anais. Ungortunately older vintage perfumes are too strong for me. I love pairing it with Elizabeth Arden white tea.
Laura, you should smile every chance you get because your smile is so super pretty. Your whole face lights up. Thank you for your videos and all the hard work and research you do to make them historically accurate ❤
I came across your channel on Vintage perfumes I have quite a bit of vintage perfume and bottles makeup and other vintage items but my question to you is I had a bottle of Ben-Hur I don't recall what five-and-dime store I purchased it in the late 60s and receive so many compliments. Where can I purchase this little small bottle of Ben-Hur thank you so much
