Gateway Classic Cars is proud to digitally present a 1932 Chevrolet Confederate 4 door.
This 1932 Chevrolet 4 door is a great running and shifting car with a 61 hp 4-cylinder connecting to a 3-speed manual with a "Free Wheeling" lever that allows shifting from 2nd to 3rd without using the clutch.
Owner states the top and interior was restored in 2005 and looks great!! All the windows crank up and down and the windshield still rolls up and down. Seats are nice and period color and fabric seems well maintained. All doors and door locks work properly and seem solid. The unique rear doors hinged from the rear are so 30's style!
This car was last painted in 1951 back to original colors for the car and is ready for a clear coat for the "old time" protection or a custom repaint.
This a great running piece of history car that you are going to enjoy owning.

It's a 6 cylinder, not a 4 cylinder as wrongly stated in the chart at the start of the video. It's evident when you get to see the engine, and it's a '32, so obviously a 6. Chevrolets were powered by over head valve inline sixes since the very beginning, in 1913, but then they switched to only 4 cylinder engines from 1915; always over head valve units powered Chevrolet. Those were briefly accompanied by a flat plane crankshaft over head valve V8 offering (the very first 8 cylinder Chevy) from 1917 to 1919. Then, Chevrolet was a 4 cylinder only company again until 1928. In 1929, the inline 6 replaced the 4, being marketed as "a 6 for the price of a 4". Chevy was a 6 cylinder only brand till '54. In '55, the legendary small block crossplane crankshaft over head valve V8 made its debut, being offered alongside the inline 6 in most of the lineup. In 1962, the very first Chevrolet 4 cylinder since 1928 was introduced, in the Chevy II. Back to the 1932 car in the video, a 6 cylinder was the only option. Greetings from Pergamino, Argentina 🇦🇷
