1934 Ford CHEV JZC Coupe - PPF & Ceramic Coating
Here's something truly special.
A custom-built Ford CHEV Hot Rod in a breathtaking metallic orange paint.
If you're a fan of the car shows, it's likely you have seen this gem on display. Most recently featured at the MotorX show in Melbourne. At these shows, mirrors are placed underneath it to show the true craftsmanship and time that has gone into this build.
Its life has been as a display car, and it's always been transported in a trailer. But now, the owner wants a little fun out of it. So, to ensure we protect the paintwork as best as possible, Paint Protection Film was the obvious option.
The full front of this Ford was covered in a thick gloss PPF to protect the custom paint job from the hazards of driving. To add a little further protection for our client, both side steps, doors, and rear guards were also covered.
You don't see many cars like this around, and we have never been asked to wrap one, so it was not the easiest of tasks we have taken on. Though, after multiple days of working out how to maximize the coverage of all the curved panels, we and the client were happy with the final finish.
We do this job to hopefully become lucky enough to work on special cars like this one. So, a big thanks to the builders and owner for trusting us with this truly special machine.
