What are you even talking about? Have you even been to a big city and spent any considerable amount of time there? I doubt it. Big cities have pockets of communities similar to small towns where neighborhoods run Mom and Pop shops, kids attend VBS, neighborhoods hold potluck parties, and children's birthday parties, and Moms put together meals trains for the sick, neighbors help neighbors. Weird you wouldn't understand that and think you are so special.

It absolutely unreal in the old vintage footage of how actually unorganized and cluttered the store was back in original operation!! You can tell it was for USE and not for nostalgia! It was REAL living back then and hard living!!!

Love seeing this story. Just ran across this Chanel. It’s so awesome to preserve our history for future generations. We’re doing this as well in conover, NC with The White Pine Supper Club. It’s hard to preserve landmarks it would be much easier just to rip it down and start over… but keeping the “vibe” as the way it was back then makes it so much more special. I hope we’re as successful as these fine folks in TN. Next time we go west we’re going to see this landmark.
