Hey GREAT motorcycle. I have a 1946 UL that am just finishing restoration. So love the "1937" above license plate. You motivate me to post my progress. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks and so true. The original bars had me reaching so far forward my back ached. On hwy rides to lower the pain I sat almost sideways/twisted with only my right hand on the throttle and my left hand on my knee. Of course I kept all the original parts so no worries.
Looks good, I am finishing up my 100 point 37 UL right now. Only been working on it for 8 years! haha Wiring and handlebars my two least favorite things to do. "Electrician by trade"...
Wow 8 years! Keep at it and enjoy the ride. I didn't know anything about mine until after I bought it and started doing research on it. When I saw it sitting in the guys garage I had to have it. I was blessed to find/buy my 37 pretty well complete & only needing a rebuild. I never would have been able to afford to buy any of the original stuff (fenders, tanks, trans, etc..). I've been following ebay prices for it over the last few years & some of the parts if you add them together sold for more then what I paid for my whole bike. :)
@@backinthesaddle350 a few years ago I found a picture of a motorcycle in that color and I saved it and then when I went to the painter or ridge company that sells paint I said hey can you make this cover and they did..
