1939 D5 Caterpillar Running and Driving 

The original D5 Cat is a lesser known model produced by Caterpillar during WW2. They were an experimental tractor produced for the US government in 1939. Only 46 were produced in a span of two weeks and they were primarily used to farm government land in California. This one, serial 9M22, recently found its way here to the Iron Ranch. The injection system needs some work and the machine has a ton of hours on it but it is still a sight to see!
