Thank you Sven! Yeah I agree. Maybe I should just do the graphics for a short while once the card is played and then remove the graphic so we can see when the card taps. I think that would be better now that you mention it. Thank you for mentioning this!
Thank you! It certainly took a lot of time lol yeah I like it too - it’s a nice strategy to tak advantage of the usual sb plan against robots. And a good old Shivan beat down is just really old school! 😂🍻
You said that Aggro-Control could sideboard out swords and, if so, BB8 can sideboard in Dragons. Maybe it is what it's happened but my question is: why side out swords against a robot deck? I mean, isn't more safe to have both swords AND divine offering? Anyway, thx for the match, as always!
Good question. The usual sb plan if you’re white against robots is to take 3-4 divine offerings in on top of the disenchants. And one needs to make room for that somehow and also not choke on a hand only with removal. So often (but not always) people take 3-4 swords out for 3-4 divine just to optimize the removal - for a total of 8 removal spells against the artifacts. This strategy is designed to catch them off guard. We see the same with the deck that sometimes take out abyss and put in Serra angels in anticipation of the other guy removing his swords - I bet Jen’s-ole was inspired by that. His shivan dragon approach is extreme because there’s so little time to scramble for an answer before it’s curtain call. Those drakes can really do tremendous damage with fire breathing as we saw in this match :) I think the problem with this strategy is that the opponent might take in blue elemental blast. Even Oblivious to the shivan strategy - they might counter them in place of the swords. But we shall see how this strategy work for Jen’s-ole once we go deeper into the tournament :)
