Great rifle , under estimated, I've deer hunted with mine for around 7 years now , usually get a couple deers a year with it . Open sights .

I just acquired a Turkish Mauser locally. I owned a Spanish K98 and gave it to my son after acquiring a Yugo capture K98k. I too love the longer 98s.

I own a Turkish and a Spanish Mauser and they have nothing to envy a German rifle.

Beautiful piece of wood. That sight if you notice hash marks on the numbers, start at the bottom and push the right side elevation button as you are pushing the sight forward you'll feel it click then push the left side button and so on, right left right left. it graduates at 50 meter increments. It's the only sight iknow of that does this. The K98 does 50 meter increments but only has one button. NICE GUN. GOD BLESS YOU! GOD BLESS AMERICA!! GLORY BE TO GOD!!! IN JESUS NAME WE PRAY!!!!!!!
