You're dead wrong, actually.... I can give you a list of at least 50 songs from all genres today that are simply excellent.... The problem is that a lot of the pop music that we have today is crap because it's churned out quickly and with very little effort and it's all just to make a quick profit..... it's made by big name stars who no longer have to prove that they're marketable, so they can hop onto a track and give the bare minimum and it will make number 1 on the Bilboard 100..... That doesn't mean that those stars aren't very talented as singers, musicians, rappers, etc.... It just means that business and capitalism are more important than anything in the US...... You end up sacrificing artistic quality when your sole focus is profit.....
