note: I believe that manual tab Smith-Coronas originally came with 6 tab stops, at least the most preserved ones I've seen always have 6. (:

Hello. I have a 1941 Corona Sterling in Burgundy, serial number 3A 94669 purchased December 3, 2022. It is great. Typed out a lot of Christmas messages to include in Christmas cards. As I type, I notice the keys start to miss the ribbon, so I have to keep adjusting the ribbon to type properly. Only issue so far.

great machine. you shouldn't have to make adjustments to the ribbon. make sure you have it threaded in the vibrator properly. good luck
