Looking at the cab, I thought this was going to be an industrial tractor. I was surprised to see it was farm tractor configuration, thanks for sharing. Industrial = foot throttle like a car and sometimes checkerboard pattern on back tires. Farm tractor = hand throttle and chevron pattern lugs on rear tires.
This is the model R, the larger model UDLX (U Deluxe) which the toy shown in the beginning was, had nearly all the modern conveniences of today. There were 150 of those built, some without the top of the cab (model UOPN-U open) It was called the Comfortractor.
Many Thanks! I will look it up on E-bay. Hopefully there is one at a reasonable price. Could put it at a nice place if it fits - between 1:100-1:72. :)
Wonderful video & really pretty restoration: pls don´t call me stupid, it´s just to learn about that: But why this tractor got this narrow front-wheels? It´s not common in the ROW.
:-)) i´ve never had such a close conversation. First: Many thanks for your engagement & all that movies - highly appreciated. In short: I love it & many of my buddies too. Thank you very much.
freeclimb64 two reasons, tilted in and thinner to be easier to turn wither driving or sitting still. thin because easier to get through mud hence why the rear tires are thin also! hope that helped.
