With the old girl back together a quick test drive would let me know what the brake system was like after going through it.... Quite fitting that the yard where the workshop is located was once a WW2 airfield dispersed site....
It has to be said I fell in love with this little Bedford, it had many issues yet was a pleasure to work on..... I just wish I could of had a good day of driving it.... Despite it's low power figures compared to today it felt to have good torque at low RPM's... a real pleasure to drive!
Brakes are now pretty good.... on this drive there was still some air in the system, once out they work quite well..... for the first time in at least 17 years....

Would love to. Love the older kind of stuff, spanner jobs, coils, points etc lol... was taking Pinto engines to bits and rebuilding when I was still at Snaith school. Still do most of my own repairs and improvements unless it gets too electronic !!! You have lots of passion thats obvious and "real mechanical skills". Will be watching more of your videos soon and will definitely call one day to say hi and see what you working on but be warned...I may want to help 😂 👍
