Thank you so much for this. This was my grandmother's absolute favorite movie. We watched it so many times. Now I play it everytime I'm in the car and I can picture what's actually happening in the movie. Makes me feel whole.
This movie was the basis for the iconic scene in "The Shawshank Redemption," where Red Redding, played by Morgan Freeman, shushed Andy Dufresne at the iconic moment at 2:12 and said, "This is where she does that shit with her hair." In fact, that scene was what caused me to look up this movie Gilda and watch it myself.
You gotta give Hayworth and Ford credit here. Their mutual passive-aggression is off the hook. Gilda gets the better of Johnny 9 out of 10 but those couple that Johnny does manage to land cut right to the bone. 11:12
Film indimenticabile, lo rivedrei mille volte... che dire, attori di una i intensità unica, secondo me erano fatti per stare insieme nella vita ..o forse hanno recitato talmente bene da rendere questo mio pensiero reale....grandi!
You know what I never understood about this scene is...why is Munson sitting so far away from his wife? She's sitting closer to his assistant than she is to him.
Maybe they didn't feel it was a rule to stick tightly together all the time if they were married. Moreover, Ballin had entrusted Gilda to Johnny for ensuring she remained faithful at all times.
Good morning and thanks for your leder Roma e don't forget whole I love your wander full sorriso casto e'il tuo sguardo puro I don't know tell and I have write some au Italie 🇮🇹unguagge
Anna Lopinski maybe your type of man is different then the leading man from the 40s And for Manson ,he didn't have to be attractive because he was rich
