محمد عارف انصاری نے خود تو ہجرت نہیں لیکن انھوں نے 1947 کی ہجرت کے متاثرین کی آہیں سنی ہیں اُن کے دکھ دیکھے ہیں۔ عارف انصاری کی پھوپھو کو 1947 میں ضلع لدھیانہ کے مقام کھنّہ سے اغوا کر لیا گیا اور اُن کے دادا اور خاندان کے کئی دیگر کئی لوگوں کو شہید کر دیا گیا۔ اُن کے والد صاحب انہی المیوں کی وجہ سے ذہنی مریض بن گئے اور اسی روگ نے آخر 2006 میں اُن کی جان لے لی۔ ۔
