No. The "trade" unions are the experts. Walt is calling out the trade unions for being a classless society. The "trade" unions are for normal supply and demand math. The more skilled workers shop on the left side of the math chart. A different class of people get paid better. Supply side economics is veblen goods supply and demand math. A different type of "class" does the shopping with a different math. The veble goods and griffin goods capitalists have no class. Veblen goods are exploiting the mental illness of narcissism for profits.
One joins a union to protect himself from becoming a victim to the Stockholm syndrome. The cult is a veblen goods capitalist. "If you tax the rich, they will leave your city". Capitalist said as a noun and not a verb.
A "trade" union is the opposite of communist. The skilled people wanting better pay is the opposite of communist. A cult is a group in gauging in self inflicted harm.. Walt wanting to build a quality product and services but didn't want to pay the better traned people to do it. Thus creating a cognitive dissidence in self inflicting harm. People who join a trade union are doing so to protect themselves from a cult Stockholm situation. A trade union is the opposite of communist.
By being over dramatic, he is committing a crime. Being over dramatic is technically lying. A couple of follow up questions would clarify what he is being over dramatic about. Where are the follow up questions? The workers are complaining about the economic inequality situation. The workers want an equality situation. So Walt is being over dramatic with the workers wanting economic inequality ending. By using the over dramatic term communist. By being over dramatic, he is committing a crime. This is not him at home and we are listening to that crazy uncle at Thanksgiving. At a private dinner. This is a serious accusation. At a serious place
@@billcypher7646 So he wouldn't defend having quality products over the unrelenting wokening of every product under the Disney banner despite the fact that it could make more money if it didn't go woke?
A "trade" union is where skilled people get paid more. Not a classless society. The worker's union uses the term rat. Basically, crony capitalism is a cult who believes in veblen goods supply and demand, and/or griffin goods supply and demand math. The workers' union called out the crony capitalism cult behavior by the derogatory nickname "Rat." By 1859, John Camden Hotten's Slang Dictionary would define a rat as “a sneak, an informer, a turncoat, a person who deserts one party or cause in order to join an opposing one. They are not human. Humans dont desert their party. They are rats. Capitalism is a synonym for normal supply and demand. A cult is a system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object. A veneration for a veblen goods capitalist. If you don't learn from your past mistakes, you are destin to repeat them. Walt Disney called Unions communist. This is a perfect example of the strawman fallacy. The mind isn’t limited to only protecting you from actual or perceived physical threats. That is, in addition to wanting to keep you safe, the mind wants to win-or at least not lose. The brain will create cognitive dissonances to protect itself from losing. Thus, mind activity is initiated any time we come into disagreement with others. And will do anything to protect itself. Even make an alternative reality, though cognitive dissonances, the might be right fallacy and/or the strawman fallacy. A crucial characteristic of the narcissism cognitions with this content was that they represented varying degrees of distortion of reality. Characteristic of the narcissism patients was that they showed a systematic error; viz, a bias for themselves. Because, depression is a bias against themselves. And the brain is protective. This is cult protective behavior. Normal people go by their own merit. Normal people save themselves from going into depression by rewarding merit. That distortions were particularly likely to be present when the situations (cues) are ambiguous. For example; many words have multiple definitions. A faulty information processing. They change the definition of words. Someone will make communist mean a "classless society." And "union" as everyone gets paid the same. AKA one union is a classless society. But in reality. It's a "trade" union. Creating a skilled class. That goes by merit. To make a better product and services. Based on merit. Based on normal supply and demand math. Croney capitalism is a cult and want their veblin goods "class." A different math formula of a supply and demand. The cult never actually gets into the math. That the other side is really pushing. Also, going as far as to use a scary word in might be right. But the "trade" unions are for a class society. That goes by merit. The failed math formula, crony capitalism, doesn't trickle down between the classes. The unions have a drauditory nickname for this cut called "Rats." To turn on your party. To not be human. Cults have three classes. A cult leader, cult recruiters, and cult members. Rewarding savers is punishing the borrowers. It's not a human thing to do. Only some can be shareholders. This is where the cult members get left behind. and if everyone was shareholders, that would be a failed math formula. We call this math formula "crony capitalism." The cult leaders pay the cult recruiters well. The unions have a drogatory phrase for this, "Rats like the cheese." The "cheese" is the great pay the cult recruiter receives. The rats turn on their party for the cheese. Star Trex talked about a future moneyless Earth that used a federation credit system because the replicator was invented, AKA communist. Key in on the "moneyless" part to qualify for the definition of communism. Basically, the math the unions are selling is capitalism using a not-for-profit banking system. Because all the businesses I shop in require a not-for-profit banking system. A "classless society with no predotory lender class. And we all shop with a normal supply and demand math. And not veblen or griffin goods supply and demand math. Because crony capitalism is an oxymoron. "Capitalism" is the math of normal supply and demand using a not-for-profit banking system. "Crony capitalism" is basically using a for-profit banking system. Turning the normal supply and demand math into griffin goods supply and demand math. Or even veblen goods supply and demand. Because "capitalist" is an adjective. Not a noun. "Crony capitalists" are two opposite adjectives. Making it an oxymoron. The narcissist is turning capitalist into a noun. The middle of the big X in normal supply and demand is a classless society, with no veblen goods class - misunderstood as communism. "Supply and demand" is a math formula, AKA capitalism. It's a math formula where the better product and services capitalize. It must be functional from a not-for-profit banking system. And "tax the rich" as a fine if anyone thinks otherwise. It doesn't trickle-down between the classes in crony capitalism. So stop with that type of classes. Trickle-down economics is building a supply line of luxury cars first. For the upper class (the cult leaders). Then, using the profits from the luxury car to build a worker's car second. This is not the very left side of the normal supply and demand math chart. Thus, the "rich" (or cult leaders) do not understand how this math works. This incorrect math is named veblen goods supply and demand or even griffin goods supply and demand. The very left side of the math chart is when products first come to the market, they are super expensive. Then, as the supply side later catches up. Thus meetimg in the middle of the big X. Everyone can afford this product and services. For example, when flat screen TVs first came out, they were stupid expensive. After a while, this sector of the market eventually came to the big center x of the math chart, and everybody was able to afford a flat screen tv. In a classless society. When flat screens first came out, and they were very expensive. This was not trickle-down economics. But normal supply and demand math. The better pay "trade" unions would shop on the let side of the math chart of normal supply and demand. And the unskilled workers buy the product and services in the middle of the big x. Veblen goods supply and demand are exploiting the mental illness of narcissism for profits. And this class society is unacceptable. The margins on the left side of the griffin goods and veblen goods supply and demand math chart are being counted twice. Thus, it doesn't trickle down. The margins are being counted twice by the narcissist who thinks capitalism is a noun. Thus turning the normal supply and demand math into veblen goods supply and demand math.

Because rats selling out this nation to China or personally enriching themselves through the Chicoms like the current president and his crackhead son would take some much-deserved heat. We’ve got a Democrat who was sleeping with a communist Chinese spy in high-level committed now. Bring back HUAC. Let them take on BLM and Antifa too. Be lovely.
HUAC was a creation of the Roosevelt administration. They originally looked for right wing threats to the US, such as Fascists (there was an actual coup attempt planned in the interwar period that came close to taking place). Nazis and their sympathizers as well as the KKK were all investigated by HUAC before the start of the Cold War. Among those working for HUAC at that time was an actual communist (sorry, I don’t have his name handy). Now, imagine what would happen should HUAC be revived in this age, but dominated by Progressives that include communist sympathizers, Cultural Marxists and fellow travellers? They’re already calling for re-education camps and wanting to criminally charge people for perceived opinions, such as believing there was election fraud in the last federal election. I doubt they’d shrink from abusing their power and letting it get out of control, in a manner not unlike the French Revolution.
@@alberthicks9201 That’s the sort of response one would expect from some slack-jawed hick. Just because your name is Hicks, doesn’t mean you have to live up to it. Do a little research into HUAC before you reveal your ignorance to the world.
Given what Hollywood has mutated into, perhaps the HUAC hearings were not such a bad thing in the 50s. When an industry has such an influence on persons just as charismatic figures do, someone must be allowed to rebut without being smeared as is so popular these days. Never thought I'd say that but ---------------
Colby Price-Lampkin it is not a matter of freedom of expression it is a matter of domestic terrorism. These are people who advocated for the overthrowing of the United States government by any means necessary. Is that not a concern of the U.S government? Especially when the communists in Hollywood took direct orders from the kremlin?
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xLl8Ial30_0.html and ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XaLQMs_VDLw.html are a couple examples of the kind of screenplays by individuals accused of being "communist" or "domestic terrorist" who were accused of "advocating for the overthrow of the US government" and subsequently blacklisted due to the HUAC hearings.
That’s all just red baiting, I.e “if someone has a dissident voice, just call them a dirty commie.” It’s a tactic to surprise anything remotely left wing.
Too bad Bob Iger and the executives of today failed to learn this part of Disney history, when this proves how wrong and damaging it is to bend the knee to communists.
That’s what happens when you see the company you built with your blood sweat and tears your whole life destroyed and held hostage by a bunch of idiots with evil intentions.
It was not his company by the time he passed the film division was no longer handled by Walt the core imagineering for the parks remains intact the rest of the company needs help also Walt pulled some strings to keep Epcot private to the company so no residents could change land governing policies so no one is innocent and yes Walt was a patriot
Dave Hilberman, the animators' union assistant who began organising the strike in the Disney studio in 1941, by his own admission was a Communist party member, who had even travelled to Russia. The FBI investigated and discovered that Willaim Pomerace, the union's business manager, was also "one of the leading Communists in the movie industry", and their investigation concluded that when the strike began, the union had followed the Communist party line from Moscow. Remember, in those days the USSR was running its 'Comintern' organisation, with cells worldwide, whose express purpose was to spread communism by taking over the leadership of trade union movements and hijacking labour disputes to attempt to overthrow democracy. Although Stalin finally dissolved the organisation in 1943 to appease his WW2 allies, the activities continued in secret. Turned out Walt was right.
So was McCarthy in a lot of ways, but Havana the McCarthy hearings were still a travesty. The USSR was absolutely funding disruptive activity, but the government went way too far in combating that without due process.
What I’m annoyed in particular as of late is the botched history many are doing on RU-vid as of recent. Claiming he just despised labour unions and workers rights when it clearly was more to that. Then never mention these testimonies and other such issues.
"If a thing can be proved to be un-American it ought to be outlawed." So speaks 'liberal' America, land of the free, where you can think or say anything you want in complete freedom (as long as it's not classed as 'un-American' by those in power.) Pretty much the same as Stalin said. You can think or say anything you want in complete freedom, as long as it's not anti-Soviet.
I'm not sure if I understood well, since my english isn't my first language, but doesn't he say right after that: "without interfering with the rights o f people"?

Walt Disney was a great man...he did not realise that Mickey Mouse was turned and brain-washed when he went to Moscow in 1938.He did not know that Donald Duck also was working for Stalin...... can't watch the cartoons anymore.......
I hate Disney all the more for hearing this. Bless you, Walt. Everyone is here for everything that comes after the 'smoke them out' quote but I urge you all to go to the beginning of this and really listen to and contextualize everything leading up to that iconic line. He was fighting the fight our ancestors failed to, and that we should have taken up. We are only now waking up to it and that's our shame. If only we had believed our enemies then, when they were only screaming it in our faces, instead of doing it so with their bootheel in our faces, as now.
Disney was eternally bitter about the animators' strike of 1941, and he was anxious to cast all unions, especially the Screen Cartoonists Guild, as communist fronts.
I guess McCarthyism isn't taught in American schools anymore, most the comments here are absolutely without context to the contemporary of Walt and his business. He was sent to testify there as a member of the MPAPAI, from which he shortly after distanced himself. He testified to what he believed and was wrong for it, but it didn't provide proof for other allegations made against him. Most weren't flattering or insensitive by current day beliefs. Unions didn't always play nice either. Walt's views and insensitivities at the time weren't that different from others within the industry. All-in-all he ended up signing with the NLRB union and rehired most of the striking employees on equal pay. Walt did hold grudges against unions after and against some individuals but it is somewhat understandable in context. Neal Gabler wrote a whole book on it, Disney War, go read that and read up on McCarthyism.
I read all these comments that Walt would not like what his parks are all about these days. I do agree. But I also agree that Walt would still love everyone and want them to all have fun in his parks. Would he stand for demolishing the American Family? Heck No. But would he welcome in all families? Heck Yes. Disney never ever had to strive to be inclusive. He and the company already was inclusive. They didn't have to try. It's the progressive liberals who push push and push to be seen and heard when all we, as an American people, want to do is live our lives. Stop putting us into categories. Walt was a god-fearing, all American. We need those values brought back to the parks. We don't need to progress with the liberals. Our country is falling apart because of them.
I detect a little communism, I see it in the things you do...... Communism, socialism, call it what you like, there's very little difference in the two.....
Before Disney dies , his friend and associate Dorothy kilgallen dies.1965. Judy Garland appears on Dorothy's show. Judy Garland dated Kennedy. Dorothy on Dorothy's show. Oswald rabbit is part of JFK ties to Disney. Aldous Huxley had ties to Disney and Kennedy..

The cartoonists had the last laugh. Fantasia is a side splitting comedic slap at the "ruling class" adn bourgeois obsessions. At first it looks like naked women bathing....then just when it appears the "women" will emerge fully naked.... DOH!! Horse bodies. Got us real good.
Yeah. Capitalism is so oppressive it allows subversiveness like this to exist. Last laugh is Walt Disney made mad money on this film. How does it feel for their work to be cheapened, besmirched, and plastered all over merch making capitalists rich. Lol youre funny kid.
Whether or not he was right about communists, communism wasn’t the reasons behind the strikes. Animators just wanted to get the pay & credit they deserved
@@joewhitehead3 that's not the point. The point is the union was in bed with people who took actual money from the soviet union to influence the American public. You have to realize that as a business man he would have gotten blacklisted and in the worst part thrown in jail. This would have been disastrous for his upstart company which in fact was doing pretty well. Walt Disney May have not been a great man personally, but a smart business man with a creative initiative that still conquers to this day, oh I surely would agree.
This comment section really drives home the power of US propaganda apparatus. Legitimately sad how willingly people accept anti-union, anti-labour lies.
Disney's workers were already unionized. Herbert Sorrell showed up with his Conference of Studio Unions (which was a Communist front; Sorrell himself was not a Communist, but he still did their bidding in exchange for their funds, meaning the CSU did have Communist ties), and the CSU attempted to strong-arm Disney's cartoonists union into joining under their umbrella against their will. The cartoonists went to Disney and begged him to do something, because they knew the CSU was a Communist front and did not want to join under any circunstancies, and Disney granted his animators' wish and testified against Sorrell and the CSU in this video we are commenting under. Sorrell later tried to retaliate against Disney by running a smear campaign that spread a false rumor that Disney was an antisemite. Disney in this video is doing everything in his power to defend his union and help his workers.
There's much I admire about Disney, particularly as a film maker, but god help us he was politically naive, foolish and destructive. He barely begins to perceive the deep hypocrisy of what he's doing here. I imagine there are a great many in the Disney corporation who absolutely wince with embarrassment when this stuff is brought up today.
He was not a filmmaker, animator, artist or whatever you like in any artistic way...he was a business man, the greatest marketing creator ever. Disney does have a legacy because of animation, but if we are honest, fairy tales are not the most difficult thing to do. The writers of his studio did it well, his animators did the job of making that films great...but not him, he was trying to get the studio to be "THE STUDIO". I mean, why do you think Star Wars or Marvel Comics are bought by them? To be "great"?, to save a legacy?
@@TheAceSpaceman You are an actual moron. Disney was in fact all of those things you mentioned. He animated much of the early Alice Comedies(which were done at a lower budget obviously), he wrote a good chunk of Mickey shorts, he voiced Mickey in most of the shorts and he even wrote a couple of songs as well. Just because he stepped into a producer role doesn't mean he wasn't supervising all of the stuff his company was making. You are so goddamn clueless. And are you kidding me? Fairy Tales are not the most difficult thing to do? Please, by all means go write one from scratch then or even just adapt one into a film from an old fairytale and we'll see how well it will do. Walt Disney wasn't just a Marketing Creator. This is the guy who not only produced some of the world's most famous animated films but he also did Live Action too(often combined with animation e.g Alice Comedies, Mary Poppins) not to mention how he revolutionized the theme park industry with Disneyland/Disney World and the fact that he was about to make his own goddamn city in EPCOT before he died.
