You tear these things apart with such ease! I loved seeing the propeller shaft removed from the torque tube, how I wish I could do that when I replaced my okie bushing! What a BEAR of a job it was for me, the special tool was useless, had to drift it out using the dowel pin holes 😮...glad that's behind me! And yes...these 48 Chevy videos are GREAT! I think that using lock-tite 609 bearing retainer compound would be easier and works just as well as the stipple and goop that you are using.

Do you know if 1948 3100 Chevy Truck has or should have that parking brake spring that’s attached to the torque tube housing?
