And after a hearty bowl of Post Raisin Bran, it's the perfect time to enjoy a cool, Winston cigarette. Winston brand cigarettes: The Doctors' cigarette of choice.

There was a new FCA policy change that you can't advertise tobacco to kids starting from the 70a (see the old, Winston commercials using the Flinstones). Even though Family Guy isn't supposed to be for kids, and that's NOT what the ad would be about, I guess they would rather just leave out smoking for simplicity's sake.

@flamingpi2245 3 года назад
@@Mumblix A grape is a fruit, botanically a berry, of the deciduous woody vines of the flowering plant genus Vitis. Grapes can be eaten fresh as table grapes or they can be used for making wine, jam, grape juice, jelly, grape seed extract, raisins, vinegar, and grape seed oil. Grapes are a non-climacteric type of fruit, generally occurring in clusters. The cultivation of the domesticated grape began 6,000-8,000 years ago in the Near East.[1] Yeast, one of the earliest domesticated microorganisms, occurs naturally on the skins of grapes, leading to the discovery of alcoholic drinks such as wine. The earliest archeological evidence for a dominant position of wine-making in human culture dates from 8,000 years ago in Georgia.[2][3][4] The oldest known winery was found in Armenia, dating to around 4000 BC.[5] By the 9th century AD, the city of Shiraz was known to produce some of the finest wines in the Middle East. Thus it has been proposed that Syrah red wine is named after Shiraz, a city in Persia where the grape was used to make Shirazi wine.[6] Ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics record the cultivation of purple grapes, and history attests to the ancient Greeks, Cypriots, Phoenicians, and Romans growing purple grapes both for eating and wine production.[7] The growing of grapes would later spread to other regions in Europe, as well as North Africa, and eventually in North America. In 2005 a team of archaeologists concluded that some Chalcolithic wine jars, which were discovered in Cyprus in the 1930s, were the oldest of their kind in the world, dating back to 3,500 BC.[8] Moreover, Commandaria, a sweet dessert wine from Cyprus, is the oldest manufactured wine in the world, its origins traced as far back as 2000 BC.[9] In North America, native grapes belonging to various species of the genus Vitis proliferate in the wild across the continent, and were a part of the diet of many Native Americans, but were considered by early European colonists to be unsuitable for wine. In the 19th century, Ephraim Bull of Concord, Massachusetts, cultivated seeds from wild Vitis labrusca vines to create the Concord grape which would become an important agricultural crop in the United States. Most domesticated grapes come from cultivars of Vitis vinifera, a grapevine native to the Mediterranean and Central Asia. Minor amounts of fruit and wine come from American and Asian species such as: Vitis amurensis, the most important Asian species Vitis labrusca, the North American table and grape juice grapevines (including the Concord cultivar), sometimes used for wine, are native to the Eastern United States and Canada. Vitis mustangensis (the mustang grape), found in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma Vitis riparia, a wild vine of North America, is sometimes used for winemaking and for jam. It is native to the entire Eastern United States and north to Quebec. Vitis rotundifolia (the muscadine), used for jams and wine, is native to the Southeastern United States from Delaware to the Gulf of Mexico.

"Post Rasin Bran made with rasins which are grapes that have been dried in the sun for a long period of time and bran the hard outer layers of cereal grain along with germ it is an integral part of whole grains Post Rasin Bran" not gonna lie this is kinda catchy

Wheat Germ of a cereal is the reproductive part that germinates to grow into a plant; it is the embryo of the seed. Along with bran, germ is often a by-product of the milling that produces refined grain products

Reminds me that early South Park episode where Cartman gets fatter because he thinks an energy bar will make him stronger, when the commercial of said energy bar was just a guy shouting how you eat the bar and then your body digests it. "You eat it, and then it gets broken apart inside your stomach and then it becomes energy that goes all through your body!!!" or something in those lines lol

I find long commercials like these ones annoying. When I watched this video I was like “ok I get it. Stop repeating this stuff. It’s been going on way too long and I’m bored now.” Maybe I’m just saying that cuz I’m a millennial and I was never around in the 50s.

Are you looking for the perfect breakfast meal? Try Post Raisin Bran, made with raisins, which are grapes that have been dried in the sun for a long period of time; and bran, the hard outer layers of cereal grain. Along with germ, it is an integral part of whole grains. When you eat Raisin Bran, it fills your stomach and keeps you from feeling the sensation of hunger. "Hunger" being pangs in the belly as a result of lack of nourishment, thereby sending signals to your brain telling you, "Hey, I'm hungry." And when you hear Mr. "Hey, I'm Hungry," be sure to have a hearty bowl of Post Raisin Bran. Again, made with raisins, which are grapes that have been dried in the sun for a long period of time; and bran, the hard outer layers of cereal grain. Along with germ, it is an integral part of whole grains. In the days before Mad Men and the rise of the “modern” advertisement (the 1950’s), TV commercials usually came off more like high school presentations than flashy tributes. Things like music, moving images, transitions in time, etc. hadn’t yet been introduced to the ad world, so 99% of ads from that time were exactly like this: a single person sitting in front of a camera using the product while somebody off screen dryly tells you about said product. They were also excruciatingly long, just like this one. 😂
