1950s VINTAGE WARDROBE TOUR! HUGE plus size vintage haul from a hoarder house!

I LIKE HOW YOU CAUGHT YOURSELF BEFORE SAYING "I AM NOT A BLACK PERSON" because the other day I said in my video "I am not a white person" and I facepalmed lol. My favorites are a toss up between the blue gingham with the openwork collar, the raspberry dress, and the star dress!

What a great haul! Lucky you! I love Laci's channel--I don't know her personally, of course, but she seems like the sweetest person. I think my favorite was the one you're wearing (I'm a big fan of red, too) and the print that looks like book end-papers. I think the patter is called "marbled"--at least when you're referring to books...not sure about fabric, lol. I'd love to see some look books or a series with you wearing all of these; however you want to put it together.

These are all such a dream!🤩 today i am soooooo excited to say that I have finally after years of searching using tips from yourself and several other lovely souls on IG and RU-vid, I have bought my very first vintage clothing! I have never been able to find anything but accessories before! This time i found four gorgeous nightgowns from possibly the 1950’s? I am not entirely sure! I still need to research! I also found a gorgeous black trimmed, brown faux fur coat of my dreams!😍 Thank you soooo much for all the tips!

A dress a day for a month would be amazing but I fear it would mean an awful lot of work for you, with repairing and washing not to mention all the styling. Found you through Laci Fay and I’m also struggling to rebuild my vintage wardrobe after weight gain and whole 2 size changes. I’ve basically lived in leggings the last year. So seeing you show all these plus size dresses is so heartwarming. I’ve a big fan of house dresses as well! So some of these are right up my alley!

I can see how fashion goes through cycles when I watch videos like this. Many of the dresses you shared reminded me of my favorite “grown-up” dresses from the early 80s (high school) through the early 90s (mid-20s). While the 80s are primarily associated with neon, leg warmers, punk, and new wave, many dresses looked back to the late 40s through 50s for their shape and collar details.

I loved the lady head dress best too I can’t believe that Laci sent you all those dresses! She is so sweet and generous! Love your content thank you 😊

Did you ever make the month long vintage video. I'm a new mom. I day nee my kid is a year old now. All of my beautiful clothes no longer fit me. I dont feel like myself anymore. I am struggling to find some sort of inspiration where i feel like myself and finding clothes that suit me and my quite busty size is really difficult. You remind me of my mom. Practical and beautiful. Elegant and still reasonable for the daily wear. I wish i could find the places you get clothes. But just seeing you mix and match has helped me figure out how to make outfits in the past. Help?
