Hi Michael the mechanic that serviced my dads tractor mucked up the rear hydraulics and watching your video of you replacing the rear shaft got me thinking that I might know what he did.
Great video - thanks. Do you need to have gearbox in neutral to remove and insert shaft? Should PTO be engaged or disengaged for removal and insertion of shaft?
The gearbox was in neutral, and PTO was disengaged. After installing the new PTO Shaft put gear box in gear to make sure the spines a line , hope this helps.
I put 20 liters in the gearbox and then checked the dip stick and add more if you need to, also the oil has a long way to travel so check the dip stick the next day
