At first, Tom couldn't make up his mind whether he wanted to eat Jerry or throw him out, and in later years he stopped trying to eat him and has just been going at war against him ever since. Sylvester tries to eat Tweety in all their appearances, when Sylvester's not going after Speedy. What about Katnip? Does he try to eat Herman and the other mice in every episode, or is it just an on again off again thing like with Tom And Jerry?
