Man, this brought back so many early childhood memories. My uncle had one of these and when I was 2-3 years old, I fell in love with it. He'd let me "drive" it all the time and I loved it. Then one day my dad and I were out for a ride and I remember it started pouring water out so we went back home. Water pump went out, and then the starter. Online shopping wasn't a thing back then, unfortunately. So she sat. That was around 2004.When my uncle passed away, of course it went to me. I have plans to get it running again this summer. Coincidentally, it is also a 52 TO-30!
Drove one of these the other day it belongs to my Boss.. Man it’ll fly. Love at first sight. Hopefully I can buy it off him. His first tractor will also be my first tractor.
With a 24 mph top gear it could run away from the 8n and its brothers. More power, better fuel economy and smooth operation are what makes this a superior small tractor even at 70 years old!
My bought one new in 52 that had a hydraulic seat, floating hydraulics, and a three speed auxiliary transmission under, direct, overdrive. Sadly My nefews blew it up and sold it.
Now that you mention it, my 30 seems wider at the mid section, also the air cleaner box/ compartment is visible from where he is sitting. Mine has a different shifter...
@@ianlulham i got a to30 at home (well that what i think lol but still not knowing 100% if it actually to30 or a tea20) but how you different a to20 to a to30? is it the gear like mine have 4 does a to20 have less gear? or is it with the engine size?
@@ukiniakingdomex1837 Ferguson never made a T30 anything. The next size Ferguson it could be is a T35, and it's not one of those. I hope that helps you identify your tractor
