Rode in this truck many times with my Uncle Bob who had a masonry business for many years. When I was a kid my dog would run to the back door and wait for him when he heard the familiar sound of the trucks engine.
Grew up in Southern California. My Dad bought a ‘53 pick-up when I was a boy. It was the basic truck and did a yeomans job. We had a camper shell built and used it to travel with. As someone stated in these comments: there’s that Chevy whine. I’d not heard it for many, many years.
The way I see it, you got one of two things wrong with ur charging system, one ur voltage regulator is inoperable or ur generator is not working, cuz ur dash volt meter is showing a discharge cuz that battery is the only thing keepin ur trk going & that my friend is a total loss system & could put u stranded on the side of the road & that’s a fact !
