As soon as I saw this one, my first thought was exactly as yours ..... "WOW"!! Lol ..... This is no doubt the sharpest pickup build I've seen .... ever! How does one even begin to offer kudos to this guy on his work? The colors are perfect for the truck, and the bed, undercarriage and motor compartment are as you said, just as nice as the rest of the truck. This 6 cyl. motor one of the best things that G.M. ever produced, and the 4 speed is THE trans. for it. Congrats to all concerned .... The builder on his outstanding work, you for finding and purchasing it and the next proud owner. What an amazing work of art!!
Jay : Very nice truck. So glad to see a nice truck that was not lowered and had low profile wheels and tires put on it. And also glad the gas filler was not put in the bed . I would just love to have this truck.
Beautifull chevy truck 1954, i Was 18 in 1970 when i bougth My first car chevy bel air 1954 powerglide 4 Doors sedan, colour gun metal Grey, this gourgeus truck reminds me My chevy 54, 6 cyl in line engine, super smoth, thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always, this car from the batcave 🦇
Never ceases to amaze me how somebody can built such a beautiful work of art. I can barely wash the windows correctly. I've never seen a dual exhaust on a 6 cylinder.
I'm old so being around racing it was standard for duel's exhaust and intake manifolds the flathead fords had no chance against them and the 1954 Corvette took the 6 cylinder to develop a street car 6 since they didn't have a v 8 split manifold term was used never heard duel exhaust used back in the day.
Very nice and I love the bed liner, I haven't seen one like this. My '53 has an all new bed but still has the factory primer and this would look great on it.
