This was great! I’m starting on my 1947 and this was nice to see before I begin.

I'm into my fourth day owning a 51 Visicoach. All added woodwork has been tore out, argh. Screws, nails, glue and brackets all within three inches of each other!! Floors are coming up and some new channel and brakes next week.Thanks for the vid.

Nice set up on one of my favorite bus designs. That new engine should make it much more roadible than the original.

Very nice bus! I recently found 2 Flxible's near me for sale. I want a bus and the Flxibles have the awesome styling but we may just buy a MCI or possibly a Skoolie. When I was maybe 19 or 20 I worked part time for extra cash cleaning at the Flxible bus Co in Delaware ,OH. I got to see some cool things like the CNG buses.

The Flxible Clipper 46 arrived in Mexico since 1949 ´´ 6 years later this Visicoach 56 working hard through the rugged and high area of the center-North of the country.

I've been watching a lot of bus videos like 'bus grease monkey' and others. When I saw this I had to click on it and even subscribed. I am a little disappointed though to find this is the only video about the bus on your channel. I really wanted to know about the new engine and gear box you put in it and other parts of the mechanicals. I also wanted to see a better video on the finished bus perhaps with narrative and a short drive. Overall I really like the look of this bus.

Love the green bus color, very pleasing to the eye! Nice job on the remodel, so roomy, I envy you! The vintage chrome details on front hood are so lovely! What kind of spray foam did you use? I'm looking for something robust and non-toxic. Please share this detail as I am remodeling my Class C RV and lots of small areas need insulation. Foam will be easy to squeeze in. I'm also curious about what material you coated the front entry steps with? Was this a plastic type sheeting, or paint on thick rubber coating? Looks good. For ceiling, some creative ideas are: vintage tin tiles with embossed design, not shiny, but with a patina of old paint. Lends a lot of texture, but you have to see if it fits your style. Can also be used as a backsplash. There are places online that make these architectural copies of old vintage Victorian ceiling tiles. I've also seen people do ceilings with a nice grain thin wood panels. If you use these, refinish with shellac for a warm glow. You can insert aluminum strips to get a pleasing contrast to the wood, and break up the continuous wood cabin look.

@RailcarEng The motor is a 1995 C8.3 Cummins (275 hp) 800+ (lb ft) torque bumped to approx 325 hp The trans is an Allison MT644 The bus was modified to accept a larger radiator and a inter-cooler. A hydraulic fan moves the air for cooling

What did you repower it with? Looks like a cummins(ISB/ICS) - and an Allison(B400)? What horse power are you at. I assume you had to change the cooling as well?

I was all exited to see the inside....man, what a letdown.

Nice job getting rid of that dated interior. The old Flxible owners and Flxible owners in general have bad taste except the Creative cruiser dude. Surprised you didn't use aluminum to frame that back wall to keep the bus light. A nice thin wood veneer or even stainless steel for the roof would be amazing. I've seen some dudes use these tacky foil looking panels to do the roof. Ughh!
