I've tried that. The tail light works with the headlight switch, but no brake lights. It's probably a bad wiring connection between the brake light switch (replaced) and the tail lights. I replaced both brake light bulbs as well. The old ones disintegrated as soon as I tried to remove them.
Just found this video. I also have a M38A1. Looks like you live in North Fl. So do I. Dont know if you know this but you do not have to mount your tag on the jeep. All you have to do is have it in the jeep so if a cop ask you for it you just show him. I drive mine around a lot and have never been pulled over. Will you ever take it to Caffeine and Octane ?
Are you talking about the one on the south side of JAX at Orange Park? If so, it's a little far for me to drive the M38A1 there unfortunately. Thanks for the info on the tag.
Morning, The show I was talking about is at The Avenues Mall. I live in Mandarin. There's also Shows at The Military Museum of North Florida. They have a Facebook Page. They have room for you to park if you trailer your jeep there and then unload and go to the show side. It's about 20 miles from me so I just drive mine .
