I'm going to have to watch this again. Lots of good information!!! Yes I totally enjoyed it!!! I have a 57 1 ton with the 9 foot bed. 6 cyl and 4 speed. I bought it in 1972 and used it to move mobile homes and made lots of money with it. In 77 I took off the 9ft bed and built a welding bed on it and used it to haul my 200 amp Lincoln welding machine and related tools. I love that old truck!!!!

As you know, ive been a big fan of CTR since way back in the chicken farm days. I started watching these videos because i myself thru the yrs have rescued about every old truck i could get my hands on. Sorry to say most have been scraped but i still enjoy the hunt and thrill i still get from landing some old car or truck. I think some people try thier damnedest to criticize or condem anyone for anything they dont agree with. So i would just like to say LETS ALL LIVE AND LET LIVE, TRY TO BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER. and HAVING LOVE FOR THE LORD IS A GOOD THING.

When you presented the correct placements of the side emblems for the 1957 chevy, in which direction they should face, I got nervous. I said to myself let me check the pictures of my truck thats on my phone. Because right now I am out of town! And sure enough my emblems are on backwards Lol The shop that installed them did it over 5 years ago! I guess no one is the wiser. I have never been corrected until today Lol. Thankyou for the lesson. I'm not going to correct it, but if someone does correct me, I will admit fault, then thank him/ her, then tell them, I did it on purpose, because I like the look! Lol!! ; ) Nice channel!! and " Good Day To You Sir"

Very interesting! Thanks all the effort, knowledge and experience you share with us and for making and uploading this side-by-side comparison of the ‘55 to ‘59 Chevy trucks. From your comments at the beginning of the video, I assume you’ve received quite a lot of nasty comments. I for one appreciate your calm and benign bearing and your kind words regarding animals. I hope you get as much joy out 0f making your videos, as I and surely many other get from watching them. Keep ‘em coming. By the way, I’m watching and subscribed from Germany.

I really appreciate the information you shared in your video which describes the differences with the different years of the Task Force trucks. I have learned a great deal from this and many of your other videos about these classic trucks. Regarding the varying fender trim emblems 3100, 3200, etc., (one piece or split) and their placement location on the fender (below or above fender ridge line) is very helpful to know. There was also a V-8 fender emblem available for V-8 engine trucks that was situated on the fender just below the 3100 fender trim emblem as an example. I wonder if you might let me know the location of where the V-8 fender emblems should precisely be mounted on the fender in relation to the standard fender trim emblems which denotes series....3100, 3200, etc. I know they went somewhere below the standard fender trim. I have a V-8 in my Task Force truck and want to add these V-8 emblems but not sure where they go on the fenders. I have seen some Task Force trucks with the V-8 emblems that were situated all over the place on different vehicles. I prefer to place the V-8 fender emblems where Chevrolet placed them when the truck rolled off the assembly line. If you know this information I would really appreciate knowing this. Thank you again for sharing your insightful knowledge of the 1955-1959 Chevrolet and GMC trucks. Perhaps the best built American trucks ever made.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge of the Chevrolet and GMC trucks. Your videos are very informative, and I know you didn't go into alot of detail as you said on the video. I'm interested in the history of the 336 CI Pontiac motors that were installed in the GMCs. Thanx Jjay
