I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is a 150 model 55 Chevrolet. But if I am in error please forgive me. But everything else you have said is right on.
I like how this car is more resto than mod. That’s how I like restomods done. Upgraded and updated without taking away from the lines and trim of the car
Had a 55 back in the day. Put a 57, 283 with 66 corvette cam, big 4 bbl, 3 speed with overdrive, 4.56 rear end. Sucker would fly. Sold cheap baby on the way. This one is exceptional, great car for someone. Thank you for posting.
You just can't go wrong with Crager wheels. I built a 55 American Graffiti replica that I owned for over 20 years. Unfortunately I had to sell it due to my father's health. I dont regret that, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss it. This one sure is nice. Whoever did the paint, and rear radius fenders knew what they were doing. Both are a 10 out of 10! This car is one of the nicest 55's I've ever seen. Absolutely flawless!
wow that's exactly the way I do all my chevy resto builds - always black & chrome w/ chevy orange motor -- that '55 is perfect. looks like a satin clear coat..
you know what? every charger, mustang, cougar and so on, will look dull beside this sheer beauty 🥰 (just kiddin'...i'd never turn my back on a mustang...or a cougar....or, you know....but 🤪 ...)

I'm building on right now...mine has a patina body...and its staying that way...when totally completed I will have around $28,000 in mine....should be done in about 2 months from now.
Instead of going to the new electric garbage and cissy climate control crap . Gm should dig out its molds and old school machinery and start building all of the tripple 5s again
The 55 was my favorite of the tri-fives because of the smooth tail lights. The 57 fins are too much for me and the 56 tail lights look like add on trailer lights someone bought at the hardware store.
