I just liked and subscribed. I agree im also not a big fan of 4 doors. We have a very solid 56 four door it even had a good title. Not any interested buyers who are ready willing and able to buy it. We are asking $3000. So most likely I will attempt a conversion to a 2 DR. We have a 55 two chevy wagon and a 55 ford 2 dr ranch wagon.
I'm digging that 4 door brother, keep it just like it is. I was like you didn't believe in a 4 door but that's a nice honest car. With that vortex upgrade..... man just drive the thing. Love your channel
Thanks! Now that I have the 2 door 55 Im thinking of just having fun with the 4 door just as it is. The car is a great cruiser, we are actually taking it to Cruising the Coast next month.
Both those 55s are very nice and desirable. 4 doors can be nice cruising cars and they still look good. I've even seen them done up as gassers. The yellow one probably had tweed upholstery to go along with the painted chrome. I'd say turn it into a gasser but keep the yellow paint. I like the yellow because I want to repaint My 55 a similar color 💛
Thanks, the yellow one had a tweed headliner in it and a tweed package tray. The door panels are custom and covered in grey leather. Somebody spent some money on it many years ago.
@@bigblockkings1031 I'm planning to keep it. Just got a donor vehicle yesterday for the engine and transmission. It will have a 98 vortex 350 and a 4l60 put in it.
