Wow. I really like that you don't really see the flame job until your closer. Reminds me of a 55' Chevy Truck my cousin had in High School. He never got the money together to paint his though. Anyway, freaking nice truck. thanks for the vid

1955 and a half with the marker lights,and no split rear window trucks damn nice truck, the candy paint job cost of Fortune I wouldn't mind looking see what he had under the hood but you can bet whatever it is it cost of Fortune thank you Scotty nice truck be safe my friend

The truck is a 55. I built it about a 1 1/2 years ago. It's on air ride. I also shaved the drip rails, smoothed the dash and filled in the cowl vent.

Yeah, 55 or 56. The trucks mimicked the cars, to some degree. The 57 pickups had the reveals in the hood, and the floating grille center. The 55 pickup grilles were checkerboard, like the cars. The 56 grilles were a little different, but, I'm not sure what, exactly. Very nice, no matter what year.
