This song reminds me well of my dear Tio Peping who taught me how to play it in ukelele when i was only 5 yrs old! He has since then resided in Florida with Tia Annie; i hope he also still remembers.
I've been looking for this 10 years ago. I have this copy in the Philippines but I left it. Now I'm here abroad and I'm longing to hear this sound. I remember this when I'm in elementary after flag ceremony we have to perform this as an exercise. So thanks so much for bringing this back to my world ❤️.
The music might be a forerunner of TikTok and shall I say that before TikTok became a hit, this music is indeed a hit from generation to generation and was revived by Anastacio Mamaril and His Orchestra as well as the RamRods...😀❤️👍
lol. I feel you man. Born and raised in Phil. My Granny used to play it when I was a kid. Now that I'm in America, I have been looking for this song. I have finally found it.
This is a wholesome music. I want to play and listen to this every now and then. Especially when I came from work, I just have to sit down and listen to this and all the tiredness and stressed will be vanished.
Luz I'm happy you still remembered this kind of music lalo na after flag ceremony - Later on napalita ng kanta ni yoyoy villamin " Mag exercise tuying umaga, If you want a copy of the original Half Moon just PM me
You're very welcome Primo. You can actually dance the boogie with this tune. Bygone days when the world was young with nice people around. Thanks for listening and appreciating.
+MegaTotski You're probably referring to the beautiful 12th St Rag which Arthur Smith also recorded with Don Reno. The popular version of Black And White Rag was beautifully played by Winifred Atwell on the piano. Thanks for appreciating good music.
