I have a 1956 stratocaster. I know that the pickups were re-wound. I showed some pictures of my pickups to a "dealer" in FL and they told me the pickups are not original because they do not have the "bat wing" between the solder joints. I am wondering if this is true and I'm having a hard time finding a reputable source.
