This is brilliant! I was born in 68 but theses were in syndication I loved adventure shows and real Heros still do the things for kids aren't healthy these were moralistic shows plus I had a huskie ! What's good is to have these available to watch to relax sky king is great too I've got these on DVD lots of old school things because between the news and so called tv forget it unless it's masterpiece theatre or national geographic so glad to see these on you tube old school is the best !
Agreed, old school is the best. Earlier this year, I thrillingly came across a Facebook group dedicated to this very series. The group is called SERGEANT PRESTON OF THE YUKON.
I became acquainted with Sgt. Preston and Yukon King while I was a youngster. We had no TV only a big upright Radio. We had to use our imaginations to get the story line in our heads. That was Old School, great memories.
WOW...last time I saw this show, I was 4 yrs old. Thank you for the memories, especially since most folks then, were just getting their first B&W TV's with big tubes in them !! ha !!
Great knowing that Sergeant Preston is there cuz l just don't sleep. I had a husky that understood English just like King. Wonder if he knows French? And...'ol Sarge is pretty easy on the eyes! LOVE the mustache! He can stay at my log cabin anytime! "On, you Huskies!"
I thought these shows were gone forever. On a whim I thought I'd try for Sgt Preston. The end of a marvelous day. What a change from regular tv. Speaker one on modern TV has nothing to do with speaker 2- confusing... These shows were decent. Nothing with watching decent shows. I'm glad to finally find this series again.
I also love these great ol' shows. So much better than tv nowadays. I'm Co-Admin of a Facebook group you might enjoy..........SERGEANT PRESTON OF THE YUKON.
