With the two AFBs and the solids as well as the slight burble in the exhaust that could well be a 283/283 which is pretty cool. I really like the 150s, the subdued trim lets the body lines show more, and being "post cars" makes it all the better! With 150s being as light as they were/are and if that is a 283/283 this would be a fairly quick car even this many years later.

The 283/283 is the F.I. setup. This is a 270-hp engine.

Clean, all machine! I like "pop the hood" right away. Makes it easier to focus on rest of car. Engine curiosity is my weakness. 😅

It's hard to beat the looks of a 57 Chevy Is Bellair 150 the dual quad 283 in the engine itself with a very popular engine My dad's father has one of these brand New Right from the lot

OH YES THE 150 IS MY FAVORITE . I REMEMBER A FRIEND OF MINES GRANDFATHER HAD A HARBOR BLUE 2 DR.150 6 CYL.HE DROVE IT BACK AND FORTH TO WORK EVERYDAY . I WAS 9 YEARS OLD IN1957 . AND WOULD OPEN UP THE TRIM PIECE ON THE FIN WHERE THE GAS CAP WAS.SURE BRINGS BACK MEMORIES. THANKS FOR SHOWING IT.

"Bel Air" my foot. That's a 150. There were three Chevrolet trim levels in 1957; 150, 210, and Bel Air.

My father had that car with a 6 cyl and 3 speed and dated and married my mom with it I built a model just like it to remember them
