OK, part 2 of sanding the clear coat is done. I've overcome some drips and sags and some imperfections in the clear, using successively finer sand paper. In all, I have a bunch of hours into it all, and today, I finished. What I have left is actual buffing and polishing the paint, and this will be the step that REALLY makes it shine. I look forward to finishing, to be honest, and to moving on to something I'm really looking forward to doing :)
