The following films were taken by Doug Ferreira in 1958/9. He worked for Sharp's Commercials in Preston from 1957 till 1960 as a 'Field Representative' (salesman) and was also a keen exponent of the Bond Minicar.
His ciné films were copied into V.H.S. in the late 1980’s and the master tape has subsequently been used to transfer them into MP4 format in 2021.
The film content has been preserved exactly as it was originally taken and only a background soundtrack and occasional comments have been added.
Note: The original films were taken using a basic hand-held ciné camera of the time, and the frame jumps and film scratches are all faithfully reproduced here!
