I had a 58 black impala 348 tri power back in 63. It had the 3 speed in the floor. I got drafted and had to store it while away. I remember being so happy when i got home.
Two kinds of people come back from war. Those who buy big expensive trucks they can’t afford. And those who buy fast cars they can’t afford. I got back from Ramadi in 2006 and bought a 2003 cobra. I now have a 64 Riviera that is the most stunning car I’ve ever owned. It’s how we stay attached to that love of power and adrenaline. Most end up getting married and having kids so that car ends up being the only thing you own that only belongs to you. (Everyone deserves one selfish toy. So you may as well get a really nice one)
Absolutely stunning ride Scottie, 58's have beautiful lines and a style you just don't mess with and having a 348 and 3 pedals makes it all the more special...👍🙂
Man, that is a slick looking 58. I love the stance. Not too hot rod and not too custom. Just right. Alloways style is the way I feel cars should be done. The perfect mix of old and new. The arrow straight black body shows how dedicated and good they are. Takes a lot to make a black car look good. Thank you for sharing Scottie. Take care.
Wow Scottie. Great find, beautiful re-do and that interior is a home run. The car is clean and not overly done. Very Cool Car, thanks for sharing man!!
I've always liked the '58 and what as beauty- Black and chrome with beautiful interior color. It sits perfect and those wheels and tires fill it out perfectly.
Perfection. Lots of work has gone into getting this ‘58 looking so good. Love that they haven’t messed around with the body style and they have the 348 BB still under the hood. The whole car is simply stunning😎👍
FIRST CAR I EVER SAW COMING HOME FROM HOSPITAL IN 1959... OLD MAN WAS RIDDING COOL.... NOT THAT COOL ,BUT COOOOLLL!!! HIS CHOICE , BLACK AND CROME....COOOOL...
Oooh so sweet, nothing like the curve of the 58 Chevy, so smooth and looks so good with out the continental kit. Just let me get her spot cleaned out in my garage, so just ship it l am ready. Excellent video Scottie, you sure know how to pick the fine rides brother, thank you for the leg work.
Now that's one sharp jewel..... Bobby is the man.,... If I had a car and the funds to build one that is where it would go... L❤️ve the stance and wheels with all that chrome and mile deep paint it don't get any better... Great to see that they used a 348 engine.... Thank you Scottie for sharing this car and Happy 4th to you 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
The Chevrolet impala have always been a sporty car...I always love always the crome it really stands out...not like the plastic bumper and front ends...they got out today...I always like the 62 impala ss...
Never understood why the 58s weren't part of the TRI-5s, I know, i know it wouldn't be tri-5s anymore,it would be QUAD-5, anywho that 58 is STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL inside, outside, the undercarriage, the trunk,Engine compartment. That shop does FANTASTIC work they should be PROUD of that build😊,
Back for another look 🤣😂 I actually like these better then a 57, got alot more style and class, I still like 57s but the body lines talk to me on these machine's 🇦🇺🇦🇺🤝🇺🇸🇺🇸😎🙂
A model from the year of my birth. Yes I know...I was born with the Edsel🙄. In terms of greatness, I was either born a year too late(57 T-Bird) or a year too early('59 Eldo) But this is a pretty damn nice one!
