Thanks Scottie. Very nice, rare 1959 Chevy Apache original pickup truck. I really enjoy seeing the loving care these people give to restoring these 55 year old vehicles. At first I though it had a GMC emblem up front, but took a second look and saw the Chevy bow tie. I like the color combo, but I keep wondering what other colors were available, or would look even better. Also, I would have been mighty tempted to pull the 6, and put a small V-8 in there instead. The interior is beautiful, the way it echoes Chevy cars of the late 50's. Keep em coming my friend.

Beautiful truck.....color so nice that it hard to remember they came out that nice. Too bad they don't have drive-in movies anymore; the truck would look right at home on a warm summer night under the stars. Man, talk about memories! Too bad they don't make 'em like that anymore......seems GM has gone ape-shit on today's styling and a lot of us guys don't like the candy-ass look of the new ones.

I just had to say, for those who may be restoring one of these trucks themselves, the motor color was actually gray from the factory, not blue, only the Chevy cars with the inline 6 were painted blue. There's a spread of misinformation on this.

My Nader has one and i can buy it from him but its rusty and probably hasn't bin stardid up in years i don't know if its to far gon to restore?

Yeah it would have except for the rear deck.

Just think, before 1957 no cars had double headlights, then for 40 years they all had doubles. Now we are back to single headlights with amazing shapes thanks to durable plastics, but they should be waxed as the sun damages their clarity.

The 1956 Apache was actually more beautiful in design.
