WHAT??? No stupid music, no asinine selfie laden self-congratulatory narration? no constant begging for subscriptions & likes ??? Have you lost your mind??? I have. BEEEEEEAUTIFUL car-Dear Lord, the clock even works!!!, great presentation. THUMBS UP
I appreciate that you took us for a ride in the Caddy and we got to see how smooth the ride was. My Jr Hi English teacher drove a Pearl White ‘59 and sold it to my now husband’s Mother. We went on our 2nd date in it back in the ‘70’s. I didn’t appreciate the beauty at that time, but I do now. Great video.
Put this into perspective. America had just won WWII. Eisenhower had created NASA. Nuclear power was the promising new energy of the future, and they were pumping out cars that looked like this. Dare I say America at its peak? Certainly in style and class.
My grandpa bought one just like this one brand new I can still remember riding in it as a little kid. I now own it. ( you have a lot of hi dollar car's but this 59 is the nicest one you have. Ferrari and Lamborghinis are like buttholes everybody's got one not everybody has a 59 caddy convertible
Being 19 years old in 1959 i still can't believe the beauty and hiw majestic the cars were back then. We were light years ahead of the world in auto production. What the hell happened. Stupid leaders and money. What a shame a true crime to say the keast. Destroyed the auto industry in thus country.
i like the year but to me its to short it needs to be a 4 dr with the black on full red interior. also it needs all the extra stuff that came with the car you had to pay for. i also dont like added on glove compartment radios or mods. i am all bout factory original specs. if any factory spec stuff is missing or doesnt work or things modded i would pass on the car. a major let down for me is no cruse control and a cadillac blank plate is where it would go. the radio mod in the glove box is another turn off or pass like i said. i am just more bout original everything and have top of the line for the car for a 59
Actually having a radio in the glove box is good kludge. FM radios were not optional until 1963. The REALLY long 59 Caddies were the Eldorado Biarritz. But in perfect condition they are now commanding upwards of $400K at auction!
