I'm taking a 1959 Jeep FC (Forward Control) body and putting it on a 2005 Jeep Wrangler chassis. This is the second episode where I lower the FC body onto the 2005 chassis while making customizations to accommodate the transformation and future work.

Excellent presentation! If you want a worthy challenge, restore a Corvair for your next project.

Really loving the documentation and detail as I too am doing this build with my FC-150. My frame is shot as is the bed, the cab has minimal rust but lots of dents. I cant wait for the details on your new bed panels and their cost. May have to see about shipping from them to Colorado????

I looked up my invoice and PRW did them for $856.25. Price of steel varies but that’s what I paid

Someone by the name of Scott called Paso Robles Welding to see about buying the same panels as they made for me. They called to see if I was ok with it and I am. Check your length. Mine is longer than original to fit on a Tj chassis. Speak to Cameron 805-239-1688. Scott the number you left didn’t work

How are you going to manage the remote shifter linkage

If you don’t mind me asking how come you didn’t sandblast the body and epoxy it before mounting, it would have saved you a lot of prep

Good question. I needed to do a pre painting fitting. Do all my adjustments and welding then sandblast , epoxy primer and painting off the frame then final assembly. Keeps the frame and all the components from getting fouled with sand and paint
