Thanks. Bolens are very rare over here and Ride-a-matic's even rarer. Dad spent a lot of time before I was born hunting down these tractors and we are now getting to bring them back to life, which is great. Take care

We should have done a channel giveaway for the rats nest LOL. I am sure we will find a very modifications and bodges on this tractor. A common one over here is to replace the fixings with metric which are very common. Take care

Thank you for popping over to watch my videos. Recently most of our videos have beeen about our Bolens but we also have Wheelhorse, Cub Cadet and Roper tractors in our collection. We love them all but I guess our Bolens are top dog. Take care
The trailer works perfectly. This tractor is very cool. I hope some of that paint comes back, I like when they are covered in oil too because the paint is usually pristine underneath. Good stuff my friend
Thanks 👍 We really like this Ride-a-matics they are great machines. The 1962 Ride-a-matic we were towing the trailer with currently has a Honda engine in and that works great. I think the paint will get worse towards the back of the tractor but it will be interesting to see how much paint we can save. The trailer seems to work much better than it ever did. Nice that's a good looking barn find. That thick grease normally saves the paint pretty well should clean up and give you a neat looking pitina. That trailer works well for moving them around. 👍

The trailer works really well for puling the tractors to where you need them. Great barn find, looking to see how the tractor looks after you spend some time on it. Also want to see if the tractor or your dad is in better shape at the end. Enjoy the journey.

Nice! I was hoping to see the storage shed. The wench looks really handy. Reminds me that I need to work on another project, unfortunally not a tractor project, I seem to be caught up on all those for now.
Thanks. It is really hard to film inside the storage shed as it does not have any lights. We will see what we can do next time we are in there. I can't imagine us ever catching up with all our tractor projects LOL. I enjoy watching all your projects, even the non-tractor ones. Take care
So, your Dad's 62? Time to retire. I retired at 60 and was so glad that I did. I try to spray down nuts and bolts with PB Blaster well before I try to undo them. In the case of a brake bleeder nipple, it took 6 months of a weekly spray o get the nipple free. Good Luck, Rick
Hi Rick, he is 62 in October and he retired about a year ago which is why the workshop roof no longer has holes in it LOL. He is still adjusting to the change. We are thinking that this tractor will take a lot of soaking on the fixings and we are not going to rush into breaking something. Take care
How's she goin'? This will be a dandy project for you and your Dad. A good idea to do what you said, power wash it and put some releasing agent on all the fasteners. That'll make for a much smoother tear down eh!! This is going to be interesting!!! Take care!!

Thanks. This is a project we have been looking forward to starting for a long time. We are also looking for a '59 model as they are very rare over here. 1959 was the first year that Bolens were imported to the UK. Earlier models do exist over here as a number of people have imported them in recent years. If you ever see a green Bolens Ride-a-matic the quick thing to check for the age is the front axle. If it is round then it is a 1959 model, if it is like this one then it is a 1960. Take care
I believe we have done 2 or 3 videos on the 1962 RAM. It has a Honda engine and we talked through the modifications in our "Tractor significant birthdays 2022" video. We have a second 1962 RAM which needs a full restoration. Take care
That trailer is working out well! I love barn finds. This is a great one for sure. That front tire only needs a patch lol. This is going to be a great project and I cant wait to see it. Have you guys seen any of the coverage of the huge truck convoy and large protest over here in Canada? Just wondering. Take care
