Revisiting a bunch of your videos as I'm into a rebuild of a 60 Sprite I bought at auction in January. I bought a refurbished chassis and a garage full of spares, and have to assemble now. But what I don't have are a master cylinder, and that hardware, as well as those bushings and pin on the pedals. Also, gas pedal and connecting rod. Your videos are helping me out with every piece. Hope to get the shocks mounted this weekend, and refurbish the rearend this week, then the pedal box next week after I figure out the bushings.
It this kind of sorting-out that we all need once in a while. See the things we can't see, fix the things we don't know to fix. For those pedal box pivot holes, can they just be welded shut and reopened with a drill to true them up?
Yes the ends of the pedal arms where the rods attach can just be welded and re- drilled, the pivots in the middle of the pedal arms have replaceable bushings ( that are sometimes actually missing)
