My grandpa has a 60. White with teal down the side and in the interior. We totaled it in 2015 after an elderly man pulled out in front of us on an interstate. Just now has it almost entirely restored. Love these cars.
My Father owned a 59 1/2 that was black with a red interior and convertible. He said it had a 401? or 409? I wouldnt know. It was a beast of a car for a younger me and my 5 siblings. it was totaled and he was nearly killed by a drunk driver who hit him head on. Wish the car had stayed in the family. But am glad the car saved him from perishing at the time. If he was still alive now (RIP) I might buy this for him. I love this style.
THIS IS A SUPER COOL 60 IMPALA 2 DOOR HARDTOP SPORT COUPE. THE METTALIC BLUE 💙🔵🟦 AND WHITE 🤍 PAINT JOB LOOK SUPER GORGEOUS AND BEAUTIFUL ON THIS BABY. GANGZTER WHITEWALLS SET IT OFF JUST RIGHT AND THE FENDER SKIRTS ARE COOL TOO
Blue 💎 Diamond from the batcave , super gourgeus chevy, high performance, inside wow beautiful, thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always 🤩 🤩
Beautiful Impala! I would have kept the original size factory steering wheel and I think either Flowmasters or the factory Chevy turbo mufflers would suit that 348 better as far as sound.
My mother bought one of these after she went back to work ,except hers was white with red interior same as this except for color . She let me drive it once in awhile Dad just smiled when I’d go out ,he knew what that car could do ,he had a Buick GS .lol
I have asked the same question. I'm told they run cooler that way. it seems many people make that choice to leave them off. It's not difficult or expensive to put one on.
Nice but I would immediately remove those fender skirts. They detract from the clean original looks. I think the modded brakes and transmission were unnecessary but understandable. Beautiful color and as nice of a car as anyone could find!
Those were beautiful cars. Then the '62 was ugly.Next year changes;next year changed; next year changed;next year changed;next year changed.the next year in '68 it changed again.1970 changed again. Never got it right and stuck with it
First thing I would do to that car would be to have seatbelts professionally installed for all six people I mean the car is not completely original I put a retro stereo when they're which is really good because you got a class A Car like that you got to listen to some fifties and sixties and even 70s music come on then so why not put seatbelts enough for six people to cruise around with you can't drive a car legally anywhere in the country without having a seatbelt on I mean come on I mean if it's going to be a museum piece or something no one's going to ever drive it's just going to sit in some air conditioning building so I can sit there and rot people can look at it if you got a car like that come on man who ever does this restorying or whatever they did to this vehicle my God man put some seatbelts in the damn thing if it's going to be completely all original and it's a Survivor and you're going to win trophies or something at a car show that's one thing and you really don't ever want to drive it you're going to trailer it to a car show and Then trailer it home and put it back underneath a bunch of blankets and a big huge air conditioning and heated garage which I think is a waste I couldn't stand the car like that knowing I could drive it but legally I can't because I don't have seat belts
@@StevenVarga-t6h In IL yes. We wouldn't sell or have a vehicle for sale without a title for it. Now that could possibly vary depending on your country or state. In IL there is an exemption "5.
