Bro I wouldn't be able to sleep at night anticipating that car laid out in the garage . She's a real beauty and you've done a great job again! It's going to be a great feeling once you get behind the wheel .
Man been into these cars since a kid I want too build one wats the first thing too start off with besides the car really trying too do one in the next year or two
Spent a few hours yesterday on 1 door on the 66 c10 , still not good… the only thing we can think of is we tweaked the old hinges replacing the pins as they were seized ….. new hinges ordered
sometimes they fall right in place, sometimes it take hours. i remember me and my buddy put a trunk lid on a 62, and it fell right in place the first time, it didnt need to be adjusted at all. i told my buddy that will never happen again in our life time.
Coming together nicely. I totally know about the OEM door handles. When I was restoring my 65 I bought some engraved repops.. thank God I saved the old ones; the ended up sending them off to have the original ls engraved and re chromed
Great Education on all the little parts that make a door work. So much of the Repo parts are real bad, and when they go to the Metric bolts it's all over. Never heard of Knuckle Guards, Sheltered Life I guess.
Beautiful ride, Beautiful color, im building a ride, already painted the frame gloss jet black, chrome undies, but just looking at how the your color with the chrome looks making seriously think about a re-spray. Either way Beautiful job brother.
