Have a look at Johnson Motors service bulletins for 60-61. They are full of fixes for this particular bike. This bike nearly took down Triumph it was so full of bugs. Frame breakages, vibration fractures of numerous brackets, batteries boiling over, electrical problems, not to mention the numerous problems with the remote float carbs. They lost a lot of money on this one. By '62, it was a very good motorcycle, one you could ride every day.
