Great shooting. Was shooting 200 yds on the weekend, it’s a challenge with old eyes and irons. I’ve had a few Indians, they make fine rifles and all of them I’ve seen have the repair to the Butt and sometimes on the bottom edge as well.

Thank you! Yes I agree 200 yards is challenging! It was interesting, that I shot better with a center mass hold with this rifle. Usually, a six o'clock works better for me, as I did try it at 100 meters and my results were significantly worst; Same conditions with cold barrel. Were these rifles meant to be shot (center mass hold) that way? Thanks for watching!

That second group was good with the exception of the flyer.

Remove the nosecap and drift the front blade slightly to the right, replace nosecap.

Yes, will adjust front sight to hit center. Thanks for watching! :)

@@HangInThereCat I was going to suggest the same thing. we also forget, the last time sight adjustments were made, the rifle was probably in another country and was sighted in with different ammunition, also sighted for the person shooting it. Looks as far as groups, it is a good shooter. - Dave

With Lithgow SMLE's , the star on the Knox Form of the barrel indicates rust or pitting . It's likely that was a convention with other commonwealth manufacturers like RFI .

Yeah, I couldn't find what that the Knox Form meant, but I think you are right. It would make sense the markings should mean the same across the board for all the manufacturers. Thanks again! Appreciate you!!!

@@HangInThereCat Thanks for the reply, the knox form is the squared off section at the shank of the barrel on an SMLE, so essentially the area with flats that has the * stamp on your rifle is the knox form . Cheers!

Outstanding review. Have owned a couple before, one in 308. I enjoyed shooting them. As I have said before, you can be my sniper in my fireteam any day. You are building quite the collection.

@@HangInThereCat At one time I had quite the collection of military rifles from both wars. I think the most I had at one time was either 31 or 32 rifles. Good ones too. If you name it, I probably had it at one time. Have none now. Grew tired of the upkeep and the hassel of taking them to the range and all that goes with that. I do still wish I had kept a few. In particular, the K98, the Lee Enfield, the 03 Springfield, the model of 1917 Remington, the Springfield Garand, the M1 carbine just to name a few. I rarely go to the range anymore, so it''s no big deal to have them now. No one in my family (including grandsons have any interest) although I have given them a few hunting rifles. When my oldest turned 18 I gave him a Glenfield Mod 60 22 with the squirrel carvings on the stock. Three years later I gave his little brother one just like it for his #18. My other grandson turns 18 on 7/24 but I haven't been able to locate another one with the same kind of stock, so he may just get a Ruger 10/22 lol. My middle grandson got a scholarship to play baseball at Sam Houston State University and I gifted him an Interarms Mark X (ten) in 7x57 this past Sept. My oldest grandson graduates from Lafayette University next month and he's getting a Ruger M77 in 7x57. I'm saving my 6.5x66 Swede for the last grandson's graduation from college but that's 5 years away lol.

@@easttexan2933 That's about the same number I have currently, not including my AR lowers lol 😆. The Glenfield Model 60 with squirrel stock is awesome, as I have one as well. I see there is one for sale on "guns dot com" look for SKU 266217 - I'm pretty sure that is a squirrel stock 😀, pictures are small/not so clear. That's another caliber(s) looking to get into , 7mm Mauser...interesting rifle prices for 7x57 still seem reasonable. hmmm... That's awesome your rifles are family heirlooms, hoping that once my son has his own family I can do the same 😇. Thanks ET, appreciate your thoughts/comments as always!

Nice to see a shooter breath properly , fire , then operate the bolt like a trained rifleman.
