Welcome back! HAPPY THANKSGIVING! In todays video Bobby's 62 gets a new tail panel section. Installation was pretty straight forward and this project took him about 6 hours to complete. Lots more to come for the 62. Stay tuned!

I would be shocked if Southeast Chevy Parts doesn't have that tail part. Definitely want to get an OG one if possible, those reproduction ones don't fit worth a shit.

I would reach out to a metal fabricator like cornfield customs and see if he could replicate those pieces. I would imagine someone with skills and equipment could get you what you need. Like if you sent him the good pocket he could replicate and mirror. That is if he would take on such work. *plus it could be a colab video between both your channels👌

I took a trip to classic industries last weekend & got that tail panel, passenger side tail light pocket, driver side on back order till December. my 64 shot in that area haha

Looks like more work on the tail panel than it was to replace the quarters............ The drivers side seems to collect water and almost all have a soft spot. It's has a rubber seal/deflector also to collect more water AKA rust. Tell Bobby some day his car will look as good as yours 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving to you and all the Guys.

Yes the tail end to bumper rubber weatherstrip collect alot of water...

I sent bobby a message. the think tail light housings are good at a yard I frequent. Im going to go check and confirm and if they are Ill cut them out.

I know yall got the talent to build the remainder of the tail light panel. The hardest part looks to be the stamped circular area where the light goes and that looks good. Also Brent aka mr impala might have what y'all need.

I think we could. The only issue is that he wants the tail end painted. And not use the cove moldings. So. We would like for it to be as nice as possible in bare metal. We'll see what happens
